Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms govern your use of Penguest, an online service for event registration, payments and check-in. Penguest is operated by Apes Solutions ("we", "us"), Building 3A, Leganda Compound, Sheikh Zayed, Giza, Egypt. Contact us at support@penguest.app.
1. The service
Penguest lets event organizers create registration pages, collect attendee information, take ticket payments through their own payment gateway, view attendee statistics and check attendees in at their event.
2. Your account
You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you use Penguest on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
3. Fees and payment
Penguest charges a fee per event, based on the tier you choose. Each tier has an attendee limit. Fees are paid in advance and are shown before you pay. Applicable taxes are added at checkout.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
4. Founding organizer offer
If you joined the Penguest waitlist while the founding organizer offer was available, you can get 50% off the fee for your first paid event on any plan (Starter, Growth or Pro). The offer is limited to one per organization and is valid for 60 days after the public launch date. We send the code by email at launch. It cannot be combined with other offers and has no cash value. We may end the offer for new waitlist signups at any time.
5. Ticket sales to your attendees
When you sell tickets, you are the seller. Payments from attendees go to the payment account you connect, under that provider's terms. You are responsible for your event, for the information on your registration page, and for any refunds or cancellations owed to your attendees. Penguest is not a party to the sale between you and your attendees.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Penguest for unlawful events or activities, to mislead or defraud attendees, to send unsolicited messages, or in a way that interferes with the service or other users. We may suspend events or accounts that break these rules.
7. Your content and attendee data
You own the content you add and the attendee data you collect. You give us permission to host and process it only to provide the service. You are responsible for collecting attendee data lawfully and for obtaining any consent you need. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data.
8. Availability
We work to keep Penguest available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change or improve features over time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid for the affected event. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost ticket revenue.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using Penguest and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and tell account holders about material changes by email.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
